We're incredibly excited to be bringing Hanif Willis-Abdurraqib to Los Angeles to celebrate the release of his debut book, The Crown Ain't Worth Much.
The show will feature performances by Alyesha Wise, Chris Terry, Ashaki Jackson, Fisseha Moges, and of course Hanif himself.
Hosted by Matthew Cuban Hernandez. $10 (tickets may be available at the door, but we anticipate a big crowd so get them now!)
Hanif Willis-Abdurraqib is a poet, essayist, and cultural critic from Columbus, Ohio. His poetry has been published in Muzzle, Vinyl, PEN American, and various other journals. His essays and music criticism have been published in The FADER, Pitchfork, and The New York Times. He is a Callaloo Creative Writing Fellow, a Yale Fellow, an interviewer at Union Station Magazine, and a poetry editor at Muzzle Magazine.
